Synopsis: From a chance meeting at a Boston Chamber of Commerce gathering, this major regional accounting and consulting firm turned to us for help in expanding a new market for them: customization and support of ERP software. Their sales force had been ineffective in penetrating new accounts, particularly in their prime target sector: emerging and mid-range companies in the Northeast US . We were tasked with analyzing the market, helping establish appropriate target lists, making the initial contacts, and nurturing the resultant relationships to a state of high qualification. The effort was so successful that we were asked to repeat it for their Sarbanes-Oxley operation.
